Very nice that we made the final 3 for Ward, but I'm sure he will stay on the east coast, likely Hoyas. Kind of like with Noah Batchelor, made his final 2 but he stayed east coast near home too. Our coaching staff is going to have to have a "prove it" year or two for these out of region top 60 players to really take that step.
Perhaps. And it must be noted Kevin Nickleberry (now at Georgetown) was who was previously recruiting him to LSU. That said, this has to be a make or break year for Ewing at Georgetown. He has been terrible there and would have long been fired if he wasn't the best player in the history of the program. So the angle the other schools can take is that the coaching staff you sign with at Georgetown may not be there next season. Barring something crazy, LSU's staff (or at least HC) will be here for a while.

Give me 3 of these 5: KJ Williams, Lofton Jr, Camden, Miller, Reid and I think we will have a nice team to win back the hearts of the future recruits and media following. Getting one is highly likely, two is possible, and three has at least a small chance
Lofton is probably a long shot. He's not a "Louisiana" kid and only ended up at Tech because he was an underrated recruit. There are many big time programs showing interest. LSU might not have the "chops" right now to compete for a guy like him.
However, if LSU can land KJ Williams and add another 1-2 frontcourt players with size, that should at least allow them to compete in the SEC. Compete being a chance to finish in the top 1/2 of the league standings. LSU would probably be solid at PG. Guys like Camden and Fountain could give you that "stretch 4" ability. We know Wilkinson can defend and knock down corner 3's. Williams could give you that true scoring Center LSU really hasn't had since Johnny O'Bryant (Naz Reid was a big guy who really wanted to play more on the outside than in).
Defense and guard shooting would still remain a question mark. But EVERYTHING is a question make until we actually see the team play.
