6'7" wing Dennis Parker, Jr. out of John Marshall High School in Richmond, VA is ranked as highly as 28th in the class of 2023 (On3). LSU offered before the coaching change, so I'm guessing a reaffirmation of interest is needed.

He's received offers from the likes of NC State, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Maryland, TCU, Florida, Ole Miss, Xavier, and others. Obviously, with the recent coaching changes, there will need to be some reaffirmed interests/offers in other places. Parker has said that he doesn’t plan on making a decision until early 2023.

You can read everything you need to know about Parker's game in this newly released, in-depth breakdown: Player Evaluation.

I would say LSU is out of the running. Wade and Nickleberry were the ones who had strong ties to the mid-Atlantic area. Particularly Virginia. That's how LSU landed guys like Cam Thomas (Chesapeake, VA), Efton Reid (Richmond, VA), Brandon Murray (Baltimore). It's also how they were in on Oak Hill players. Everyone LSU got in recent years from VA and the beltway area was because of Wade and Nickleberry.

With Wade gone the landscape of LSU's recruiting base is going to change. At least initially, look for LSU to recruit more from the southeast again (LA, MS, AL, TN, GA, FL)
