Lol you were the main one screaming for her to leave, resign, or be fired when we didn’t win a National Championship every year. But now you are willing to accept mediocre performances? K

No, I just wanted all to understand she could not win by herself, but she hired Jay and they won sec 3 times. She is a GREAT marketer but only an average coach, finishing 3 or 4 out of 6 conference teams for 38 years proves it, love her enthusiasm but want to see us win it all..we can thanks to her and Jay..lets do it..

Ain’t nobody beating Florida with that roster unless they shoot themselves in the foot.

Florida is also so tough to beat because Jenny Rowland is a certified judge. She knows what skills to do, what deductions to avoid, how to compose best-scoring routines.

We don't.

Yea ok, it’s the seniors fault. I think there’s plenty of fault to go around. Can’t wait to see who gets the blame next year !

May I draw a little comparison please. I saw the video and was there when the team entered the arena for I live in Birmingham and looked forward to seeing the Tigers. Remember when the Alabama football team this past year got the right to choose between Dallas and Miami to play the first playoff game? What did Saban do? Chose Dallas and he said Miami had to many distractions. Their job was not finished. Saban a winner is all business. All this talk about going and having fun and entering the arena in a party mood is ok but is not going to get the job done. Just saying.

I thought that entry was childish and unprofessional. They’re not there to party, post to Tik Toc or any of the other crap they do. They’re there to focus, ready themselves mentally and try to win the meet.
These last two years have been so disappointing and with the parity now and added competition, I’m starting to wonder if we missed our shot and now getting left in the dust.

They weren't going to the meet, they were going to practice the day before. I'm sure they, and every team, listens to music during practice so acting like practice entry is some sacred laser focused moment is nonsense.

I blame it on the LSU Softball Superfan for causing us to finish 5th...

This team is too worried about their TikTok cred instead of actually winning

I couldn't watch so I recorded it and watched last night.

Me and the wife were in depression about 5 minutes in. As usual, it was because of Durante. I know Kiya fell too but she's earned a pass and just hope the rest step up.

I've been a broken record on a few things all year. 1) Durante doesn't need to compete in anything, ever again. Thank you for your services but you are an liability anytime she competes. Nothing against her, she's had some good moments over the years, but she's hurting the team. Jay is just too loyal to her to make a switch. 2) How does anybody beat Florida. I haven't watched Oklahoma but Florida is just a freight train. I guess you just hope for a choke job. 3) On a positive note, I think next year or two years from now is really our year. I think a top 4 finish this year will be a nice accomplishment.

I actually thought the judging was pretty good last night. 4 judges is definitely better than 2.

Felt bad for Haleigh. She was having a killer night, even with bad judging on her floor routine, and she messes up on her best skill. Hated it for her. She had been one of the few highlights.

On to the next one!

This is a great LSU football rantard take. Would you disagree that the bad performance was mainly on the seniors? Especially when you consider that the seniors should really be the ones to step up and have the experience under their belt to not melt under pressure.

Did you expect this team to win a championship? That never looked like a possibility all season so there shouldn't be any surprise if we don't, although you would expect a much better performance in the SEC championship. If you look ahead, the team is going to be better next year and the year after. No reason to already start talking about blame.

God I was really hoping we could avoid the regional with ucla - it is such a trap.

Curious on why it’s a trap? Just a guess but are they one of these teams that gets favorable scoring?

I saw someone mention the following thing about the LSU/UCLA Regionals crossover situation on Twitter and I wholeheartedly agree with it:
“I don’t think regionals is going to be as tense as it seems. Marz said on that podcast that they all wish Alexis Jeffrey the best and hold no animosity towards her. It’s their own program that they have the most issues with.”

This in no way is meant to blow the situation at UCLA out of proportion or say that it’s not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. But rather to point out that the girls ON the UCLA Gymnastics team have more disgust at their administration and those who are running the program, than with Alexis. Alexis along with her teammates will be staying in their purple zone. Same goes for the UCLA girls in their Bruin Bubble. Will they cross paths with each other? At some point yea during the weekend they will and have an interaction, however I don’t think it’s going to be as awkward as everyone is making it out to be or wanting it to be.

I would disagree that it mainly fell on the seniors. I think it was pretty evenly spread out. There were three falls, one was a senior. There were many routines that were not at the level they could be. Do the seniors have more experience, absolutely It was a senior that had to get on the balance beam after that disastrous bar rotation and get them back on track AND it was a senior that led off floor as well with a 9.9. So no, I don’t blame the seniors. I don’t blame anyone specifically I’m just tired of those girls getting grouped together No other class is treated that way.
