Laws against interracial marriage in Delaware weren't repealed until 1986. Only Mississippi and Alabama had these laws on their books longer.

Ignoring the obvious criticism of these laws’ inherent racism, it’s always hilarious just how untenable they are.

A) under “one drop” criteria, almost no one is purely white

b) eventually, if strictly carried as rigidly as possible, on a long enough timeline, it would lead to inbreeding depression in white people
