So I have answered this several times throughout the year but I haven’t found a Wade supporter to have an intelligent conversation with on the subject. Usually they say stupid stuff like “you just want final fours every year” or “you want an undefeated season in basketball”. That is usually the most intelligent response you get back.

First next year is the Wade proving year in my opinion. He shouldn’t be fired until after an evaluation with what should be his best team.

My concerns: his players always have a tendency to play out of control. Rarely do his players improve from freshman year. (I get this can be debatable).

On coaches to hire this is hard to say as you never know who to expect is available but based on his record at LSU, in Woodward I trust.

Cooley and medved would be two top names but I think scott would have some better names show up too.

Standards: reasonably being a top 40ish team to make the tournament almost every year is fair. A top 16 team every 3 years. A top 8 in there every 5 to 6 years. A final 4 type run once a decade.

Oh yea, I'm here. Let's get after it

What? Proving "what" exactly? SEC championship (done that), make the tournament every season after the one buffer year he took over (done that).

Holy shite. So Darius Days has not gotten better. Gaines isn't better this year than last. Javonte Smart did not get better. Trendon Watford did not get better. This proves you're an absolute just hater, but I'll keep answering you.

Nolan Richardson for Arkansas created "40 minutes of Hell". We imply a similar system. It's balls to the wall. FYI, when Wade was hired, everyone was THRILLED we were going to be pressing and creating havoc. It just further proves that basketball "fans" really have no idea what they want.

How about this...let's hire a coach who has made the tournament every season for 6 years, gone past the sweet 16 at least twice, has 2 high major conference championships. Do you know why I picked those numbers? Because ANYTHING less than those numbers, we are regressing on a coaching hire. So since you say you want an intelligent conversation, you can go ahead and find what coaches fit that description (fyi...it will be an incredibly short list).

Medved? Holy. shite. So your answer is to hire a coach who is a decade older than our current head coach, never gone to the tourney (Obviously he will this year), and has a SIGNFICANTLY lower winning percentage than our current head coach?

Ed Cooley!?!?!?! So..a guy who is 52 and has NEVER reached the Sweet 16...what the actual Hell. Who are you people

How short sided, short minded, and clueless are you about basketball? Before this year, Providence has never lost single digit games in a season. I just cannot

Top 40ish? Ok, obviously check. Tournament every year...check. Literally went to the Sweet 16 2 dances ago. CHECK. Top 8? What a random thing to throw in there...but still haven't met that ole 6 year threshold. Decade Final Four...ok.

So you're saying you want us to be Kansas...Duke...that's about it. Kentucky and UNC don't remotely qualify for that.

Do you see how asinine this is? The last 5 years of college basketball, LSU is a top 15 program 100%

I’m not sure what he is supposed to prove, but a regression from this years team should make his seat warm

I agree, he lets them play a bit more than I’m used to. I disagree on players improving. There has been plenty of players who have improved…pretty much only guards though.

While your expectations don’t sound absurd, few teams meet that level of consistency that aren’t blue bloods, or in a basketball rich region. Especially in the one and done era. This is only wades 3rd season at lsu in the tournament, so it’s hard to say he is or isn’t meeting that expectation.
