Personally, I don't think that the tank is going away anytime soon, but I think that the tank of the future will have to have robust EW capabilities and likely a small, software-guided, anti-drone gun.

When we think about our own use of the M1, though, we have to remember that we would likely use them in the context of air superiority.

The blowout panels on the top rear is where the vulnerable spot is.

I don't have time to do links right now, but a rather typical night last night in the conflict:

- Russian missiles hit Ukrainian energy infrastructure in three different parts of Ukraine

- Ukrainian drones hit another Russian oil refinery and an airbase.
