Doesn't LARP stand for Live Action Role Play?
No one in this thread is role playing, we're simply talking about a war. The Russian biased posters are no different from the Ukrainian biased posters in this regard.
If you detest the conversation so much, why do you keep posting in the thread? You are no different than any other poster, so if by your definition we're larping, so are you.

love how you think Putin just did that in a fricking vacuum.
That’s exactly what he did,
He knew Obama and the European leaders at the time would do nothing to stop him. He was right.

Yall are acting like this is a war game and shite on anyone who has a remotely different opinion. Meanwhile hundreds of thousands of people have lost their lives and yall will not accept any result but Russia’s complete defeat, which is impossible at this point.
And then when Ukraine loses and would have kept more territory like if a settlement had been reached in say April 2022, yall like all neocons will not look inwardly and just blame everyone else who were right the whole time that this war was an atrocity that you were making worse and call us Russian stooges.

Details please. Was it being a teacher? We don’t know what he really invested in… well actually we do, and it was blackmailing millionaires and billionaires when he lured them into pedophilic situations. I’m sure Jeffrey was such a good friend that he totally earned a $75 million Manhattan palace as a gift and not blackmailing some powerful person.
A wealthy investor from the Midwest. His name escapes me. At first Epstein just handled investments for that person.

And a lack of common sense is worse.
If Reagan, a Bush or Trump is president Putin doesn’t invade Ukraine in 2014.
No way

I love how bigots always reveal themselves by blaming everything on the Jews. Literally a 4000 year old tradition of blaming your failures on people more successful than yourself.
It's actually boring to be so common.
And the irony of supporting a war to exterminate "nazis" while holding that viewpoint is just delicious.

Well Russia has made it clear they will only accept a complete Ukrainian defeat and that matters a hell of a lot more than 20 posters on a sports board opinion on the matter. Russia and Ukraine don't give 2 shits what we think or want.

Again Russia backed out of this deal because Ukraine wanted security guarantees. Russia wasn't signing on to this deal Johnson torpedoed or not. But for some reason you think it's all Ukraines fault and Russia is just doing what it has to do to survive in a war it started
Then again your predictions in this war have been spot on. I mean Europe froze in 2022 afterall

Drones with “machine vision” are being mass-produced in Ukraine
Ukrainian manufacturer of FPV-drones “Vyriy drone” began serial production of strike drones with a targeting system.
Oleksii Babenko, the company’s CEO, shared this with Army TV live.
According to him, the company recently launched serial production of FPV drones with a thermal imager and a “machine vision” system. It is expected that by the end of the month, they will release several thousand devices.
Oleksiy Babenko explained that the homing system, or “machine vision,” is just an add-on for conventional FPV drones. It allows to automatically capture the target and hit it without pilot intervention, which should significantly increase the efficiency of the application and help to bypass enemy electronic warfare systems.

Epstein was an Israeli agent
He was running a honeypot scheme. The underage girls gave the blackmail more edge.
It was a creepy plot, the people involved, up to and including Ehud Barak are disgusting creatures.

ISW Update

Key Takeaways:
Ukrainian officials reported that Ukrainian forces are stabilizing the situation along the northern border in Kharkiv Oblast and that the tempo of Russian offensive operations in the area continues to decrease.
Ukrainian Internal Affairs Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that Russian forces have executed civilians and taken civilians captive in Vovchansk.
Russian President Vladimir Putin likely views Russia's relationship with the People's Republic of China (PRC) as decisive to his effort to further mobilize the Russian economy and defense industry to support a protracted war in Ukraine.
Putin also used his meeting with Xi to promote known Kremlin narratives feigning interest in peace negotiations and a diplomatic resolution to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Russian forces are reportedly able to conduct fixed-wing drone reconnaissance deep in the Ukrainian rear due to Ukraine's lack of air defense interceptors.
Ukrainian forces reportedly conducted successful drone strikes against a Russian defense industrial plant in Tula City on the night of May 15 to 16.
Russian missile strikes against Ukrainian energy infrastructure since March 2024 have likely caused long-term damage to Ukrainian energy infrastructure and repeated energy blackouts.
A Russian insider source, who has previously accurately reported on Russian military command changes, claimed that senior Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) officials are vying for the position of Chief of the General Staff.
Kremlin and Georgian officials promoted established Kremlin information operations alleging that the West is orchestrating protests against Georgia's "foreign agent" law in order to overthrow the Georgian government.
Turkey and Russia are reportedly exploiting European Union (EU) sanctions regulations to export Russian oil to the EU, allowing Russia to continue to receive significant oil revenues to fund its war effort in Ukraine.
Russia reportedly launched a satellite as part of its program to develop a nuclear anti-satellite weapon in the weeks before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, likely as part of Russian preparations for a future confrontation with NATO.
Russian forces recently advanced near Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Kupyansk and Donetsk City.
Several Russian opposition media outlets reported on May 16 that Russian State Duma Defense Committee Chairman Andrei Kartapolov rejected a bill that would grant deferment from mobilization to certain Russian civilians, likely to support ongoing and future crypto-mobilization efforts.

New York Times: NATO member states considering sending military instructors to Ukraine
by Sonya Bandouil May 17, 2024 3:32 AM
Some NATO member states are discussing the possibility of sending military instructors or contractors to Ukraine to train Ukrainian troops and assist with equipment repairs, the New York Times reported on May 16.
Ukraine has asked the U.S. and other NATO countries to help train 150,000 troops closer to the front lines.
However, the U.S. appears hesitant, due to the risk of attacks on instructors - potentially triggering NATO's collective defense clause.
A few officials suggested continuing the training of a large number of Ukrainian recruits in Germany and Poland, as has been done previously. However, this approach involves considerable logistical challenges in transporting such a significant number of troops.
Several NATO countries, including Britain, Germany, and France, are considering deploying defense contractors to Ukraine, while the White House is reviewing its ban on US defense contractors operating there.

Israel’s influence in DC is due to a couple of things.
One, you have a lot of Zionists in the government, I mean you have Brian Mast actually wearing an IDF uniform on the Hill to make a point, and that says a lot about what’s normal in DC these days.
It’s also a function of money, Israel bribes a lot of people in DC, that’s what the contributions are, they’re bribes. AIPACs predecessor was actually shut down because it was in breach of FARA. AIPAC is too, but they’re protected.
Finally, espionage is part of it. We’re Israel’s number one intelligence target, because Israel is a small country in a physically precarious position, and if you can persuade America, by whatever means necessary, including blackmail, that your problems are Americas problems, your security problems go away. The money and the resources you can harness are staggering.
This an old problem of empires, you get dragged into other people fights, the Athenians struggled with that.
People should be open and honest about it though. The Israelis have the most powerful lobby in DC, and that’s been true for decades. In some ways their influence is declining though. People are less and less persuaded that Zionism is a form of American patriotism. Which then leads to questions about how we’re spending our money. You can see that in the polling of younger Americans. They’re skeptical.
And nothing lasts forever too, 70 years ago the Taiwan lobby had this kind of power.
