This contrasts with the 2020 Moscow parade which included 20 Main Battle Tanks.

Ahh, I wanted to see its T-14 Armata breakdown and need to be towed away

Okay, if there is one I will self-ban.

If Russia breaks it, the self-ban is broken.

Looks more like several armed recon units ATTEMPTED to cross into Ukraine and never made it to the border in the Kharkiv area

"Our deterrence problem"

We're scared of a nuclear strike.

This is the one hand Putin believes he has... and it seems that he is right.

Could an American President now do what JFK did during the Cuban Missile Crisis, just play chicken until the other side blinks? Would American politicians and voters punish them?

Of the 30 units on parade over two-thirds were sourced from military academies, youth and veteran groups. There were also domestic security and emergency service groups on parade. In total, 9,000 military cadets, veterans, and service personnel took part. This compares to 8,000 in 2023 but lower than the 2021 pre-Ukraine war parade of 11,000.

They better keep that T-34 running, as they might need it if they're trying another offensive towards Kharkiv.

US to announce new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine

quote:

The United States will announce a new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine on Friday, just as it appears Russia has launched a major offensive in Kharkiv.

The package, which will involve transferring weapons already in U.S. stocks, includes new Patriot missiles, Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, Bradley fighting vehicles, mine-protected vehicles, Javelin anti-armor systems and other munitions.

The Russians are going for total victory, they’ll accept a surrender, but I don’t think they’ll take anything else. The Ukrainians have said they can’t defend Kharkov and the Donbas simultaneously. And they’re warning the public that the army will lose a lot of territory this summer, regardless of where the Russians attack.

quote:

You read one source and Ukraine is running out of men, you read another and they can call up millions more if they want.

They’re falling short of their recruiting targets by at least 50%.

So now Putin is saying the war is on because the west is burying Russia’s role in WWII?

The story has changed so many times on why they started this damn war. I can't keep up with all the excuses.
Maybe Lima knows the truth and can let us know.

With Gazprom losing $6.8 billion (not rubbles) for the for 1 quarter it might be total collapse suddenly in the near future. We know that Russian cannot find people to hire to work in factories so now using 14 year olds

How do you think we got here? We've been doing it in slow motion for a decade or more there. We told them we wouldn't do it. Then we color revolutioned Ukraine and installed CIA assets across the country and when Russia got concerned, we lied again and said we didn't do anything while we were starting to train Ukrainians in fighting Russia.

OK that was actually Victoria Nuland but President's don't run anything anymore but their mouth.

The i (via MSN): Russia attacks Kharkiv in a ‘new wave’ of action before arrival of US aid

Russian forces have launched an assault on Ukraine’s north-eastern Kharkiv region, as a summer offensive by Moscow’s forces could take advantage of its superior weaponry before the arrival of key US military aid to Kyiv.

An oil depot has been struck in occupied Rovenki, Luhansk Oblast

Since 2014, the Russian-controlled facility has been the key fuel hub to supply the occupation forces.
