It is important that Putin is put in his place because if not it will embolden other problem countries to increase their aggression.

That would be like a double scoop of the Afghan withdrawal. Bullies love the smell of weakness and incompetence.

Attacking Russian refineries is working that's probably why Brandon doesn't like it.

It really does baffle me. They don't want escalation, but give them the tools needed to escalate. Would love to know what the real thinking is on their behalf

I agree. It's not that unexpected. I would think Zelensky anticipated it.

"Any fool could've predicted that."

Elon clearly doesn't read this thread, at least half of the regular posters here were predicting huge gains, some of y'all even predicted Ukraine would take Crimea

I do vote for a Trump you idiot. I’ve said it many, many times. But even a Trump isn’t stopping this in a day like he’s saying but he will try to give sputum a solid deal that gives up some of the occupied territory to stop the bloodshed but if Putin rejected that offer then Trump would poor weaponry into Ukraine until Putin is ready to sit down again. All the while you’ll be crying like a bitch if Trump sends the Ukrainians weapons. Face it, you just want them to surrender the w tore country and live under a country that the people hate and have hated for hundreds of years.

ISW Update

quote:

Key Takeaways:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky indicated that delays in American security assistance have forced Ukraine to cede the battlefield initiative, not contest the battlefield initiative, and continue to threaten Ukraine’s defensive capabilities.

Russian missile strikes destroyed one of the largest thermal power plants in Kharkiv Oblast on March 22, as continued delays in US security assistance degrade Ukraine’s air defense umbrella and increase Russia’s ability to significantly damage Ukraine’s energy grid.

Russian forces are demonstrating technological and tactical adaptations and are increasingly using unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) on the frontlines of Donetsk Oblast.

The Russian military is reportedly forming mobile fire groups to mitigate against Ukrainian drone strike threats but will likely struggle to field these groups at the required scale in the near term.

Russian authorities continue to escalate legal pressure against migrants in the wake of the March 22 Crocus City Hall attack, prompting both Russian authorities to increase deportations and migrants to voluntarily leave Russia.

Positional engagements continued throughout the theater on March 30.

Russian mobilized personnel continue to suffer high casualties while fighting in Ukraine.

New round of missiles entering Ukraine right now. Kiev HPP seems to be the logical target

Yeah well the only way to do this is hot war with Russia and no way are we doing that. Even if we did for some stupid reason, the other countries would take advantage of us being occupied with Russia.

So right now we're half in half out and accomplishing nothing but throwing money we don't have into a fire pit.
