If public ownership = the state how do Marxists get to a stateless position with less and less private ownership?

Fascism is universally considered right wing and communism is universally considered left wing.

What I’d find interesting is whether what we’re seeing from the Biden regime/American Leftists is consistent with what would be considered Left wing extremism historically, or are their elements (open borders or partnership with big business, for example) that are inconsistent with historical “left wing”?

We are in an odd transition in the US. The post WW2 era, reenergized by the Reagan administration, is turned topsy turvy now. The “left” is shunning workers in favor of a One World Government, and the “right”, long a champion of free worldwide trade, is turning jingoistic and protectionist.

This bears repeating.

Accuse people of colluding with Russia whole colluding with Russia for a fake dossier.

People need to wake the frick up!
As simple as this - and it was answered in the second post of this thread.

This is the entirety of the truth - without having to be cajoled by the meaningless noise brigade; MoJeaux, Penrod, and Wild Tchipoutilas..

It is what an authoritarian-totalitarian uses to label the victims of their evil machinations.

They equate patriotism towards it because fascist leaders were always about it. Which is funny because i dont recall every democrat never celebrating the 4th.

But the far right wants anarchy, no government. Not fascism.

And it could lead to the rise of a fascist leader. But thats not really the goal.

Where does the open border fit in this historical political spectrum of assholeism?

Good question. Two points.

1. The withering of the state was because we would all naturally wander in and out of the all the world’s property. Everyone would own it, so everyone would have access.
2. Number 1 was so stupid that no one actually believes that anymore. Imagine Bill Gate’s billion dollar residence, or Bezos’ new yacht, if everyone could use it.

It's mostly the Nationalism factor.

This is what the left has designed via terminology. Globalism is good, Nationalism is bad.

The irony, of course, is that the uniparty is for a decidedly Federally centered government and are willing to trample on states / individual rights to do so. The uniparty is decidedly left, with a slice of RINO for good measure.

This is true. However, controlled opposition is needed in order to keep up appearances. The shift to the left was not overnight. This has been a process. The country has been in a backslide seemingly forever. Slippery slopes...

its to achieve a classless society. The workers will revolt against their bosses and the ruling class with the end goal of communism.

So again, someone or some group would then become the ruling class and the rest are useful idiots that go back to the fields and now have no rights and own nothing.

Exactly! I always ask, “When the Marxist revolution is complete, and all is settled, who gets to live in the big house at the top of the hill?” I’m not sure who, but you can bet his last name will be Bush, Gore, Clinton, Obama, Trudeau, etc.

The objective of socialism is to have the means of production to serve social goals, or collectivist goals, which the Germans absolutely did under Hitler ( read previous document made by Temin ).

Exactly. Its like seeing all these white liberal female lawyers. Well in your utopia you would be a drain on resources and would be told to do something else.

Yeah its a simple thought that goes through my mind. Would Gates and Bezos really give up their fortune in the name of equity? Or any of the uber wealthy?

I dont think so. In the end there will still be haves and have nots.

That is an absurd pictorial of the political spectrum

Your problem is someone who considers themselves a limited government conservative doesn't fit on either the far right or far left of what you(Penrod) consider your spectrum. I say this because if you look at history a leader on the far left can have full government control/power. Ditto with a leader on the far right. Where is someone who believes in limits of what the government can do to its people? Why are people who believe in limited government considered "right wing" if right wing is fascism/oligarches/total control etc. What am I missing here. Someone please advise.

One thing to consider, and this is something progressives like yourself have a hard time grasping, is that when someone says we need more of a thing you assume that they're proposing we only have that thing.

Suggesting we need to have more factory jobs here in America isn't advocating for having all products we consume be American made.

It's a bit like how yall respond to percieved bigotry.

"Blacks commit more crime than their population percentage."

"Oh so you're saying all blacks are criminals."

"No, I never said all."

"Women hold fewer full time jobs and that's a reason why their paid less on average."

"Oh, so you're saying there's no full time female workers?"

"No, I never said all."

"I think we should have more factory jobs here in the states."

"Oh, so you think we shouldn't import anything?"

I swear, it's a mental defect almost exclusively held on the left. I almost have to preface every statement I make with a "not all" qualifier so I don't confuse yall.

Because the left controls the media and the education establishment

So they disconnect themselves from all totalitarian movements movements even though the left is Naturally totalitarian
