It’s not like Suarez had led dismounted combat operations while patrolling the Pakistani border in NE Afghanistan.
As an OEF vet x 2, I spent 10 years on active duty with the Army. This dude is a disgrace, you don’t act like a piece of shite and go around assaulting people, especially old people. Out of uniform and off post you conduct yourself with honor and for this a-hole to use a PTSD claim is disgraceful. He’s using it as a last ditch attempt to try and save himself from the impending consequences he will face that will be life changing.

What's worse is that this isn't just some idiot 19 year old PFC who got drunk and lost in his feelings, we are talking about a fricking +/- 40 year old Captain.

I missed that. Is it in the video? That would sure seem to negate the "PTSD had me so enraged I was totally out of control" defense. Kind of like the guy who try's to avoid arrest and, only when caught, trots out the insanity "I didn't know it was wrong" defense.

More accurately put, he was the junior O Grade in the BAE. Which is a non-flying rated crew member position.

He appears based on video guilty of assault and battery but if you are going to pursue and challenge someone in that state of mind you better be prepared for the consequences.
