After breaking my piggy bank open, it seems I have approximately $75K to invest. Looking for low risk & better reward than traditional banks, etc.
Any sound advice is greatly appreciated.

In today’s world, there are not many options for low risk and higher reward.

I would start with I series Bonds

$10,000 for you
$10,000 for your spouse
Do that today or tomorrow

Monday - do same thing again

The remaining $30,000 - put in one of the reward checking account that offer a decent rate of return you - direct deposit and have debit card transactions.

Otherwise you step into some high valuation stocks.

The answer has always been right in front of you...

Start a bank.

Yes- Have been using it for about 9 months. You can't just put cash directly into your account. You have to convert it to some type of crypto. I converted some cash into stablecoin (USDC) and also put some Bitcoin I had into the account. Stablecoins currently pay 9% up to 40,000 and 8% abouve 40,000. bitcoin pays 4.5% up to 0.1 BTC and less above that. Have been very happy with their customer service as well. Biggest negative imo is that if you're in Louisiana you can't buy crypto directly from Blockfi. You have to use coinbase or another exchange to buy the crypto and then transfer it to Blockfi

yup. you also get 2% extra apy if you have the credit card. so that's 11% on stables

the credit card gives rewards of your choice so it's flexible. I use BTC but you could get stable rewards if you preferred

but muh ibonds

Hold on to your cash until Tellurian announces financing plans for Driftwood in Lake Charles. If it looks good, as it should, you can make a handy ROI off $75k

Put it in an S & P 500 index fund and forget about it. Last time I saw, the S & P averaged 9.50% a year over the last 30 years.

Make sure you pick a low or no fee fund like Vanguard.

This is way outside the box, but you could buy $75k of USDC crypto on Voyager and earn 9% annually. USDC is a stable coin that is always worth exactly $1.
