To each his own but I disagree. I could have listened to a lot more. I think they used those 3 just the right amount. They used them a small enough amount that it left me wanting more but not too much that it dragged.

Yeah, I could do with a Garfield/McGuire buddy cop movie

I’m a huge Spiderman fan, and went last night with my 21-year-old son who is also a fan. We left satisfied, but looked at each other at the end almost simultaneously saying “I don’t know what to think.”

Defoe - amazing. Period.

I really enjoyed the portal scene leading in Andrew Garfield and Toby McGuire. My theater went nuts when Andrew Garfield was unmasked.

There was a part of me that really wanted a surprise miles Morales appearance as well. That would’ve been so fricking over the top.

I did not like how they dealt with not remembering Peter at the end with fine arse MJ and Ned. Can someone help me feel better about that?

I think it’s still a little early for that. But definitely in this next college trilogy

So the spell was to make everyone who knew Peter to forget him, correct? And it messed up so people from other universes came through that knew who he was?

The original spell was making everyone who knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man forget it. The botch ended up calling everyone who knew spider man was Peter Parker from the multiverse.

The fix was to make everyone forget who Peter Parker is, so he wouldn’t be a beacon anymore.

So is it like he didn't even exist? It seems like he still could have been May's nephew/son.

That’s how I’ve taken it. Probably my only complaint. I don’t mind no one else remembering him but him having to get his GED and no one remembering him as May’s nephew bothers me for some reason in a movie where there’s not much to complain about

1) Ned learning how to open up a portal that quickly. That came way too easy given how hard it was for Strange to learn how

I interpreted the issues Strange had with the portals as being a combination of his scientific oriented mindset, but even more so that his hands were still healing from his accident.

Okay, one question…

Strange didnt have the time stone capsule on before and during the spell.

But he did when Peter and strange were back in the dungeon area thing and rest of the movie.

Is this weird to anyone else?

Technically he had the Eye of Agamato, not the Time Stone.

In the comics they are two very different things; I'm guessing he was just wearing it because it looks snazzy?

Whatever his necklace thing is called but looked identical. I was curious if possibly it was a Strange from another universe…

I thought Strange seemed surprised/impressed at Ned being able to open portals. Could this lead to Ned becoming a student or doing more with Strange and Wong?

Well, Strange struggled to do it in the movie and that was the whole Mt. Everest scene…

Nice wink at how easy it was for Ned imo

I am doing a rewatch with my wife tomorrow. She has enjoyed all of the Spider-man movies but she is too busy raising kids to keep up with pop culture. She has literally no idea about what happens in this movie. I wish that is how I could have gone into this movie but it will be fun watching her experience it.

In the comics, Ned Leeds becomes the Hobgoblin. Just something to point out.

Which made his quote about promising to not become a villain and try to kill Peter was so amusing

I think this confirms that Ned's grandma will be Hobgoblin

Just got out a couple hours go. Was with a packed house and we all cheered when the villains from the previous films showed up and cheered louder when Toby and Andrew showed up. And man were they all great with the interactions!!
