Any thoughts as to why Cooks and Steeples are labeled as "defensive assistants" instead of Safety and DB coaches? I assume that's the positions they will coach but just curious why they hold that title and not safety or db coach.

Not really sure, but they will both obviously coach DB's, Im sure they just haven't "officially" stated they will be but everyone on staff knows their roles. Just like Frank will obviously be the RB coach but it hasn't been stated "officially" yet.

This is a great staff, though I am kind of sad that Kelly went for the comfort hire of Denbrock at OC.

I know he's a great recruiter but how good of a coach is? Anyone know? I'm not going to trust a bunch of Georgia fans just because they say he sucks when that offense will always be handcuffed by Kirby.

I always love having a former NFL player, who maximized their talent and worked their arse off to get to the NFL, as a coach.
Dude was not the most talented so he had to put in hard work. I want our players to both be the most talented AND put in the hard work ala Jets, Jarvis, Chase, and Marshall
