West Virginia cornerback Montre Miller announced his commitment to Mississippi State on Friday.

Miller spent five years at Kent State before joining West Virginia last offseason. He played in just one game for the Mountaineers this last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

He appeared in 41 games for the Golden Flashes, collecting 115 tackles, six interceptions, 25 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and three tackles for loss.
