According to MadeHoops.com, the tournament was for 11U-14U boys teams. And the tickets reportedly got you into every game all weekend long. And there were other issues with the tournament...
quote:

"I was at Made Hoops this weekend also. How bout one team we were supposed to play was also in another tournament in Lexington at the time time. Drove all the way there to play them today, and they were no shows because they were scheduled in the other tournaments also. Sigh," one fan wrote.

"Not only that, but @madehoops didn’t even have a one day option. I was at drill this weekend for the Army but was able to get to my son’s second game last night. They wanted $45 regardless. So instead someone inside FaceTime’d me to watch. It was ridiculous," one fan added.
Not great.

My daughter played AAU basketball a few years ago. My son plays now. The whole business is a cash grab. There's always an exorbitant team fee. There might be additional uniform fees, shoe fees, tournament fees, and travel fees. Then there are ticket prices to watch the games. It gets pricey quick. Lots of folks payin' big money. Lots of folks makin' big money.

Haha. My niece went to “nationals” in high school cheer a few years back. That is most definitely a cash grab. We actually talked about starting our own event

Join the other parents in front of Winn Dixie or Walmart begging people to donate money so their kids can play a sport that the kids chose to play and parents let them. You sign up, you pay for it

Would you rather your kid sit in front of Netflix, fortnite and their cell phone all day or playing a team sport?

So those are the choices?
