Me Bite I have a guy who makes his own and the detail is great. GIS maps so more updated than even Louisiana One Cards

I made some maps a few weeks ago, still works for me. ill gladly help anyone out. no way id sell maps though, too risky

Whodat, I’ve been following this post for a while and it seems you’re the go too on this subject. I need a card for my Gen 2 touch HDS9. Specifically the coastal area from Houma to Venice. I'm seeing if there is a way to update the maps on a standard Mapping card I just got? I did mess around and make my own maps a few years ago but also got slapped with a cease and desist for selling a few.
Also wouldn't mind the instructions to make one as it's been a few years.

I went way over my head attempting to make cards a couple of months ago. I had some successes and a lot of failures.
What I hate is that there are a lot of steps before you can actually test your results.
I was able to make a card for a couple of lakes that also has the navionics sonar chart overlay on a satellite photo. I can even toggle the contour lines on or off or make them semi transparent.
I had to take notes while I was doing it because tweaking one little thing can change the results immensely.

To solve this issue, you just need to change the cache file.
Go to "Settings -> Options -> Cache" and change "Default cache type" in SAS.Planet.
After this change you will be able to export a .kml
