Excitement Level for this Season

I'm at a 6 right now but that's mostly just due to my love for football in general and also the Fall season.

I think we get better. It doesn't help to complain or be negative. Does anyone actually think Gale, Mick, DA, and Carr are trying to be shitty.

Come on guys. Support them.

1-10 => 5.5

Last year was more exciting. With the acquisition of Carr and Thomas coming back last season was more exciting. This season we have a baseline under Car and Allen at the helm. The acceptable floor for this season is 6 to 8 wins. Anything more than 8 wins would be an overachievement for the Saints.

Most fans and experts see us going 7 to 9 wins. The last three years we have been a middle of the pact team and this year we have a HC on the chopping block. It is what it is till the team decides otherwise .

The saints are like a battleship that has been though many battles and instead of doing full repairs and upgrades. We have been patching and adding were we can to keep up performance in battles, but we aren't winning as much because we lost our big gun.

We have most of the parts and pieces to be a great team. Teams are rarely lucky enough to have a HOF anything. We had Brees/Payton Brees retired and Payton is past his prime....until we get more creative (looking at you DA/Kubiak) and we have some special players, we aren't going to be better than a 9-10 win team.

All of this is fine with me... we need to clear out some debt and be able to plan for the future. I am happy that we arent doing it all at once and at least trying to put forward a somewhat quality team while we plan/work on the future Saints.

I'll say it's at 2, but really it's closer to a 1. I just cant care about this team until Dennis Allen, Carr and this entire mediocre bunch are out of here. I already know we're gonna lose the division and the new coaching hires will be busts, so I have zero excitement or anticipation for next year.

I find it funny that some of you actually have excitement over seeing Kubiak run this offense, when he's been dreadful everywhere he's actually called the shots. Saints fans love setting themselves up for disappointment and then acting like they knew it was gonna happen all along.

The saints have Loomis, Dennis Allen, and Carr....

We are happy to finally move on from a almost 20 year old offensive scheme. I don't think we cared who took over the OC job.
Now it's wait and see.

3,

I've cooled off on the Saints and the NFL considerably.

I have to admit that I just cannot get back into Saints football after Drew's departure. It was easy to become spoiled.....

You have got to be a yat. The dumbest Saints fans are the ones closest to the area. Then don’t post on a Saints forum slackjaw.
