I woke in the middle of the night and booked flights and then tickets in both the 200'$ and 400's. I needed a miracle and I made it happen. Now just need a place to rest my dancing shoes!

quick thoughts
-world class facility, the sound and the experience is something I’ve never seen before.
-Vegas is definitely not my thing. It gives me the creeps
-the band rose to the occasion and then some. They fricking swing now. Not sure if that’s the jay lane affect buts it’s noticeable and welcome. They played some inspired music and were obviously having a blast.
-mickey hart is 80 years old and he is a maniac still. His hands are all over the sound and the double drumming sounds fantastic now.
-the stage is really small compared to a stadium show and it’s really fun to see them so close together and without all the distractions of a huge stage setup
-the visuals can’t really be described you have to see it. It’s nuts
go if you can, you will not be disappointed. The music is worth it

I had a deadhead buddy tell me they are doing four different sets and then rotating them in out each week. Like there is a Thursday set list, Friday set list, Saturday set list, etc.
that makes sense. Same thing Trey alluded to in his interview with CBS. You can’t just wing it in that venue. Everything has to be pre planned to make the visuals match the music.

I’m in 307 1st night and 109 2nd night. Really wishing we were going Thursday night too.
I haven’t done a full 3 night run since Fare The Well 2015.

there’s a nice shakedown during the day at the parking lot at the Tuscany and the aftershows are at Brooklyn Bowl. get to the sphere about 630 and you’ll waltz right in from the Venetian tunnel

Yea. We plan on hitting up Shakedown after we land, check in, and go to Planet 13.

Who is in Vegas this weekend for the shows?

I'm not trying to be a smart arse, but they play so damn slow. How is it worth it?
I saw Dead & Co twice in the last 9 years and it was just - sooo - sllllowww.
I respect who they are and what they do, but Bob plays at a snail's pace.

I saw them twice as well...in St Louis. I couldn't agree more. Black Peter was painful. My poor wife (non deadhead)...if it was killing me...LOL
That being said, glad the music is still popular and people are at least trying to recreate what we were lucky enough to experience, with Jerry Garcia.

I was there. Was the most incredible sensory experience I ever been to.. it’s just hard to describe how great it sounds, looks and feels. Amazing energy throughout. I had my mind blown multiple times throughout the show.

Are you going tonight and tomorrow?
I’m only going to Friday and Saturday next week. Kicking myself for not going to Thursday now.

I’m going again tonight and kicking myself for not doing all 3 shows. I was in the center in section 406 and honestly don’t know how the seats could be better. I’m down in the 200 section tonight and will let you know.
You cannot prepare yourself for how amazing this experience is.

How were the seats during drums and space?

300 seats looked great I’m just not sure how you get the full effect of the screen the lower you go. You do not need to see the band they are everywhere.
You will be on another planet during drums and space. Truly not going to be able to describe what happens you gotta feel it…
