You make sense. Best to trade him at the beginning of the season when his batting average is at its lowest.

Bregman is the all-time leader in playoff RBIs and HRs for a 3rd baseman and people want to shite on him in May

Bregman hit .289 when they were banging on trash cans from 2017-2019. He’s hit .257 since in what should have been his prime (age 26 -30) seasons.

The criticism was warranted. Astros & Bregman have been playing terrible this season, but nice to see that he had a good game.
