So what you’re saying is they did the exact same thing as every other games initial trailer release?
Folks on this board even took issue with this with the Blade announcement trailer. I'm convinced they're a bunch of people pretending to be gamers. Trailers are pre-rendered game-engine footage. No gamer actually cares. As long as the game doesn't come out looking like nothing has improved since NCAA 14, every gamer will be buying it.

I agree. All I was saying is that you shouldn’t expect it to look like that in game.
I think all of the depth in dynasty is going to be phenomenal. I just wish they had better looking player models, and didn’t use the Madden animation system.
They can’t make the perfect game though, or else you’d never buy another one. They purposely make them where you think the next one is “the one” so you keep buying them.

Also, gamers do care. You should read steam reviews sometimes.
The only way I don’t care about graphics is when the gameplay is spot on. (NCAA 14)
Madden looks great, but its player models and player movement is worse than NCAA 14. The heads are peanuts compared to the bodies and the offensive and defensive lineman look like my 400 lb life contestants.

This is the fricking least of my concerns

We then you will have a great time. I am very peculiar about sports games. I want it to be as similar to real life as possible.
It’s a sports sim after all. If the simulation numbers don’t even make sense (multiple running backs with over 2k yards, or defensive ends with 20+ sacks in a season) then it’s not fun because that’s not realistic.
I understand this isn’t everyone’s mind set and some people just want to frick around and have fun scoring 80 points in a game (also not realistic).
But I am in the percentage of people who want the game to resemble real life as much as possible. NCAA 14 to me was the closest a football game has been to resembling the actual product on the field so that’s why I compare everything to that one.
The trailer looks awesome, and I’m hearing Dynasty mode specifics are going to blow people away with the depth. If that’s true then I’ll get over the models and movement and animations.

For example
This happens in Madden all the time.
The guy is 53 years old and still on a roster.
Mahomes will be 60 and still signing contracts in franchise mode. It’s a simple glitch that EA has failed to give a frick about, but how stupid would it be to play against a 12 OVR rb because of EAs negligence?

You also said you seen the trailer before it was released and that you take everything you said back because of how awesome it looked. Hard to believe you at this point unless you can show us where are seeing this info.

How does this happen? Btw guy on right would start at Bama.

This lone sentence sits atop the pile of stupidity you’ve built in this thread. This lone sentence should make anyone automatically ignore anything you say about gaming.
- Play-action passes = a sack over 90% of the time.
- The option game, other than the read-option, was a joke.
- 4 verticals.
- QBs having the ability to roll out and throw 40yd darts across their body.
- You could hit-stick a huge TE with a tiny DB and it would look like the TE got hit by a Mack truck.
- Your 95 speed RB would get chased down by the DL on any kind of run outside the tackles.
- User catch was worthless.
- As was user swat.
You can cut the “I like my games to be as simulated as possible” bullshite.

80% of those issues were solved by turning the game speed down to slow or slowest.
Also adjusting sliders seem to work way better in NCAA 14 than they do in Madden.
I’ve stated that game speed sliders fixed a lot of the broken things.
I never said NCAA 14 was perfect, but that it’s better than Madden which is why I prefer it.
Also, there’s a speed slider for players as well that adjust the difference in 80 speed and 90 speed making it where the ends don’t catch your running backs.
This is a direct quote from operation sports that I found in 10 seconds searching google that explains exactly what I just said,
That's the biggest reason why I play on Slow speed...Animations play out much better IMO
I understand the challenge people might want but EA's football games just look too arcade in general on fast speeds...
Super Fast and Fast IMO makes players look like they are sliding way too much on the field....the only way I didn't really see that sliding effect on faster speeds was to test play with agility ratings reduced down significantly.
In regards to making quicker decisions I only play Coach mode in NCAA 14 so it doesn't really factor into my gameplay.

And not a single damn poster in this thread gives a shite about how very peculiar you are about sports games.

I used to score 80 points a game in NCAA 14.
If you want lower scoring and less stats, turn the difficulty up. This really isn’t a difficult concept at all.

Sorry for the mega wall of text, but it was necessary to explain why I believe 14 CAN play way better.
If you play on base sliders and speed than yes it is problematic,

So you just proved my point. You scored 80 points a game in NCAA 14 meaning you played easy mode meaning you don’t care about realism.

It really does speak volumes.
Don’t forget about opposing linebackers having 6 foot verticals batting down every pass you try to throw 10-15 yards across the middle.

You hilariously assume I played on easy mode.
The only thing ive said that I don’t give a shite about is your opinion.

Then just keep playing 14 and piss off.

If you play on Heisman with sliders you aren’t scoring 80 a game unless you’re running 4 verts the entire game and running 80 to 100 plays a game.
60-80 plays a game is what an average team runs a game which is what you would try to run to be realistic. Playing 15 minute quarters in NCAA 14 is too much unless you have run clock on because most teams let some time tick off the play clock before snapping the ball.
I understand you may not like my opinion, but I can give it.

Also all of those problems are present in Madden gameplay and even more.
So you really didn’t say anything. I think a lot of yall haven’t played Madden lately and really don’t understand how bad it is.
I’m trying to warn you is all.
