8 years ago things cost half what they do now. Also, these poor kids live in California and most have more than 2 kids.

Well, that didn’t take long. These people obviously don’t pay attention to what’s going on around them- how other people in their shoes have been replaced by robots.

They also haven’t made the correlation between their wages and the price of the food they’re selling, or the prices of anything in that state.

Do it, California. I triple dog dare you.

Well maybe teach their kids to use the first decade after high school developing a career instead of “finding themselves” and working a job into their 30 when a high school kid is supposed to have that job.

Then they should have studied harder in school or learned a trade.

I had to stay at a lower tier hotel a month ago.

It was a remote front desk clerk on “zoom”. The kiosk spit out my key.

These fricks just don’t know.

There’s a reason why they now want $30. They aren’t smart enough to understand that when the minimum goes up, so does the cost of the things that they have to buy with their new higher salary….

And that’s why they’re not worth $30/hour or $20…. Or even $10

Can’t wait to pay for that $50 dollar 3 piece mutant chicken meal from Popeyes with a drumstick the size of a nickel and breast the size of a mini van that gives you the runs for half a week.

So what you’re saying is that if the minimum wage goes up the cost of living goes up as well? And the bottom is still the bottom and now all the people that made good decisions to no longer be on the bottom are now much closer to the bottom because inflation? This is insane.

You're not supposed to, it's an entry level job, not supposed to be a career
