Hopefully his first win. He left the game up 8-0 and it's currently 9-3 in the 9th inning.

So so much more movement on his fastballs. They def changed his grip for the better

Yep, but i think he needs to be able to throw the flat fastball as well.

Would be difficult for left handed hitters to pick up the spin on a 100mph pitch on the fringe of the outside strke zone trying to decide if it will tail out the zone or not.

He was only at LSU, but damn what a memorable year that was. LSU won’t see one like that for a long time, if ever. We were fortunate to have him. When he came to LSU, I figured he would be pretty good, but not elite.

His walk was absolutely a SO!
Nasty 2-2 Skeener low in zone but it was in per computer.

Skenes, the catcher and the batter all thought it was a K.

He also struck out the 2nd to last batter he faced with a high fastball that was called a ball.

My favorite moment was when he opened up with a Strike against a batter that looked clearly INSIDE.

Skenes has a huge smile on his face. He had to be thinking
"Oh Man your fricked if he's gonna give me that!"

Feeling it today. Thought he might have a step back game but he had a run forward game. Think he’s set for the bigs for a long time.

That’s fricking solid. As good as anyone should ever hope for in a 2nd start. He’s a goddamn animal!

1st start he gave them a chance. 2d start he put on a clinic. Impressive as heck watching him do his work.

I think what's more impressive is that it was against the same team from a week ago. They had film on him and it didn't matter.

He elevated his game and struck out twice as many from last week.

Dude had huge butterflies in that first game. He could probably barely feel his feet. Simple as that. He's past it now...look out!

Lol, it’s funny seeing downvotes. Not too far fetched to say that on the rant some people would actually think I’m being serious.
