I'm going to guess we are going out west. Committee loves sending us out west. We never go east...ever. Think about the last few times LSU has been sent somewhere else....Oregon, Oregon St, UCLA. We've only been sent "east or close" once and that was Southern Miss. Not sure if you'd consider that East.

I don’t think it is out of the realm of possibility that if Southern Mississippi wins the series today against Texas State and then wins the Sun Belt Conference tournament they might host. LSU could end up there Just saying the selection committee seems to like Hattiesburg.

What year did LSU baseball go on a late season win streak AND still did not receive the NCAA tournament invite?...
That team was dangerous at season-end and tough to imagine any top 16 team wanted our Tigers at a four team regional.

The 2010 team had a better conference record and dominated at Hoover, but still got sent to Los Angeles.

I could see going to Wake. Committee seems to like piggy backing on prior year Omaha storylines at times.
