Just keeping all the top receivers in Louisiana is fine...until it isn't.

Louisiana used to be flush with defensive linemen, but there came a stretch where that has dried up for a spell. We've seen long stretches when Louisiana hasn't produced top quarterbacks like it once did. The state hasn't been churning out top defensive backs every year like it once did.

We don't even know yet if the Louisiana receivers we've recruited the last two years will pan out. There will likely be a couple of years where the state doesn't have future NFL stars at the position. Take the best from Louisiana, but don't limit yourself to just those guys.

Obviously, if you see LSU just put two receivers in the first round and the long list of receivers that have been produced the kid is going for the money. Not playing the long game of being developed and drafted and getting the bag.

EXTREMELY short sighted and a stupid business decision. Somebody smart needs to counsel this kid.

If players are going somewhere strictly for NIL money, I say frick em. Look how paying players lots of money worked for Aggie.

Whens the last time the Yankees or Dodgers won a a world series?

Top 4 NBA teams with highest salaries (Warriors, Bucks, Suns, Clippers all out in round 1)

Cowboys year over year have one of the most expensive rosters, yet win nothing.

I think eventually there will be contracts where they don't get NIL money until they play 3 full years and produce a certain amount. Otherwise these kids will get a bag and start to get lazy because they "got theirs" no reason to work hard anymore. They will get complacent

I predict a Portal entry after his freshman year. By year 3, he'll be a nobody and lucky to get drafted

Yes, the pain of 5 for 5 and Patrick Surtain pretty much has me checked out of recruiting until the day after signing day. That being said, there was even the signee at Florida whose signed NLI was nullified when his NIL deal turned out to not be real - so now we fans have to worry about that too! Ha ha

The parents and other family with their hands out are the ones making these decisions and the kids are to naive to understand that they are being taken advantage of

His recruitment is turning into a circus. We are good probably will only be at whatever school he commits to for 1 yr.

Went from being 100% locked and his dream school to not being in top 3?! We were definitely a placeholder. This guy will be a cancer wherever he goes.

It’s better that it happened now and not on signing day.

While I think it's sad and childish, I hope people blow up his social about the "changing dream".

When you draw attention to yourself, you better be willing to handle it...

Stop with this. Almost every player is trying to get their biggest amount possible. This is why people shouldn't have counted their chickens on the '25 class until they sign.

I almost said this to someone the other day.

You have to admit it wasn't like this.

Kids always got paid but it wasn't crazy like this.

This is a school offering 600 or 800k more than lsu.

Texas is the king of NIL right now, he's going to have Arch Manning tossing him the rock, UT just had 2 WRs drafted very high (to say nothing of all the WRs that Sark put in the league at Bama), UT has one of, if not THE, largest and richest alumni bases in the country, the education is about 20x better than at LSU, and UT is located in a growing city that is made of money and consistently ranked as one of the best cities in America.

Meanwhile, LSU is located in a shitty town in a broke-arse state where most smart people can't wait to leave.

But yes, expand on this idea that Moore is making a bad long-term business decision.

Then please get the F out of Baton Rouge and Louisiana. While you are at it go jump on the UTX bandwagon and watch as the great Arch goes down in flames.
