Sounds to me like the bolt isn't fully into battery.

That makes me think something with the spring or buffer.

ETA: Hit your forward assist and see if it will go fully back into battery.
May just be tight tolerances and needs to be shot.

I would have thought if it's going back enough to pick up a round, then the heavier bolt system would have gone into battery easier. So that wasn't even on my mind at the range. I never checked and immediately thought as I got home that could be it. Still issues with the subs though. Could be ammo, but hoping it's not a finicky dastardly. I like cheap ammo .

Thats what I was going to say as well after the first shot hit the FA and fire. I haven't fooled with a LAW folder but maybe thats doing something fricky. Or she maybe too tight and just needs to be played with some to loosen up
