Gotta love all these feel good social issues our new governor is leading and directing for passage and becoming law.

He must not have any plan to fix our roads and bridges, lack of bridges, lowering the high sales tax rates, or high cost of auto and home insurance. So glad to hear Morality is the focus of this year's legislative session, rather than fixing what keeps our state from competing with other states for economic growth and prosperity.

At best, I’m usually ambivalent when I review each legislative session, so I generally have fairly low expectations going into each session.

The last two legislative sessions have been as obnoxiously, embarrassingly bad as any that I can remember. Absolutely pathetic.

Id rather my tax dollars go to posters of the Ten Commandments than times tables, world maps or some other bullshite that these kids won’t ever use in the real world.

I personally applaud the legislature for protecting the God fearing folks from Satan's THC derivative sodas and gummies, destroying a multi-million dollar industry and destroying livelihoods. Praise!

He's such a panderer, almost as annoying as the leftist virtue signalers.

Red meat culture war issues gain you traction in the GOP presidential primaries, not boring economic development.

It may seem ludicrous to us that Landry harbors ambitions for the White House, but he does.

Nothing else has passed this session besides bills like this?

This wasn’t Landry’s doing. This is on Dodie Horton who does nothing else but write these retarded bills. Last year she wrote a bill requiring every public school classroom to display “In God We Trust” and it passed.

Just another lawsuit waiting to happen that we, the tax payers, will be on the hook for.

considering that many of the kids in public schools seem to be lacking any sort of parental guidance, I think its a good idea to remind them of the basic virtues

10 Commandments coming to La public schools.

Complete, cheap political pandering bullshite. Distract and dazzle the smooth brained dipshits with these blinking lights, while he fricks something up or does nothing about something that matters.

You would think that in this day and age, shite like this wouldn't work anymore but in Louisiana, politicians still dance with the dates that brung them.

Get mad when Christianity has been taken out of the public school system

Turn around and get man when people try to put it back into the public school system

Gota love it

Public schools are for education not indoctrination.

I feel the same way about all the Uber left shite getting taught as well. This is just a different side of the same coin.

In a single week there's been two bills that stump everyone I talk to about them online or in person, the hemp THC ban, and this. It's not often I hear both democrats and republicans agreeing on anything recently, but these two things have been a resounding wtf from everyone.

I would just shrug it off as political theater, but they are going to kill a whole new budding industry with this stupidity, and really this 10 commandments bullshite will be slapped away after taxpayer money is spent on court.

I have no idea what he is doing, but if I didn't know any better I would think he is catering more to the people in North Louisiana.

Look, personally I don't care if they put the 10 commandments in every class room, but what are they hoping to accomplish? Are kids who come from shite homes with shite parents going to all of a sudden not become a product of their environment?

The time they have wasted on bullshite is incredible, but I am not sure why I am surprised, its the same typical Louisiana politics as usual.

“Tell them they have freedom while we continually restrict freedom.”

Dodie loves freedom.
