Went this past Tuesday. At 8am there were 35 vehicles parked in the parking lot with three more launching with us. After we launched we stopped counting when we hit 20 more boats launching.

We fished the submerged trees/brush in 4-6 feet of water with not much luck. Ended up turning on LiveScope but only saw a handful of fish big enough to be bass.

The lake is only 2600 acres so with that many boats we had company all day. EVERYONE was throwing a beaver and spinner bait so throwing something besides those may help.

Be careful in the boat rows. There were a lot of people that didn’t know how to operate a boat driving way faster than their ability.

With it being a 2hr and 40min drive for me I’ll stick to my local lakes and Toledo unless staying overnight from now on.

I made the trip. Got up here around 7am, there was about 4 trucks in the parking lot. I only saw a handful of people all day. First fish was about 2lbs (over 16”), second was about 3lbs, first fish was released. 3rd fish about 4lbs, second fish was released. *only keeping 1 over 16” in my livewell*
Then it got interesting… 4th fish was 10lbs 9oz. 5th fish was over 9lbs but the waves were so bad from the wind I couldn’t get an exact weight.
Then I (thankfully) started catching fish under 16” so I could keep them. Ended up with 5 bass and 1 13” sac a lait.
Ready to see what tomorrow holds for me.
