If he said it I believe it.

He's as meticulous as anyone I've seen. Retired. Flys ultralight. Has a motorcycle repair on the side. All his shite looks amazing.

Hand calculates and it matched his computer.

His 2006 dodge got 12 after all the delete, etc.

I asked. He pulled his paperwork on each of his fillups out of his truck.

I'm buying it

I have a 2018 f-250 4x4 6.7 4 door and I got 16-17 stock. I now have 37’s (34’s stock) and get 14-15max. Towing a 11k pound 5th wheel I get around 11-12 I believe.

tuner or chip out there that gives better MPG?

No. Tune your right foot to stay out of the skinny pedal.

I was just giving reference to what I was getting, not insinuating to by something else. I do like the Ram a lot. Ride is amazing for a 3/4 ton and the interior is really nice. It tows different than a Powerstroke but that’s because the power bands are different. My F-250 was nice also and had no complaints. I bought the Ram due to my local Ford dealer irritating me.

Well, if you're dragging it 70mph that's damn good.

Could it be I live in the desert at a higher elevation?

I love threads where they keep quiet about the key element until 10 people try to figure it out.

when I was 11 I became aware that a cake baked at altitude needs a different heat and time.

oxygen and internal combustion.

don't be surprised if your manual explains that.

I know there are tuners for a Ram that does not involve removing emissions so that in states that require testing the vehicle still passes

I'd have hell pulling my boat with a Corolla.

You can't tune a ram to better MPG's without modifying the hardware, and even that won't make a difference on the newest ones. In 2022, pickups aren't being built without optimized fuel economy.

The gas pedal controls how much fuel gets squirted in the hole. Controlling your right foot is how you drastically improve your average MPG, and it's free!
